dc.description.abstractThis paper reports the design and administration of a purpose built questionnaire to measure the social, emotional and academic wellbeing of 1,388 students in Years 7, 8, and 9, in three partner schools. The Living and Learning at School Questionnaire (LLSQ) contained items relating to knowledge about learning, emotional responses to life at school and information about social relationships and bullying. Goodman's (Goodman 1997) Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) was also administered in order to gauge the self-reported mental health status of participantses_ES
