Confianza: un valor necesario y ausente en la educación chilena
Abstract
El artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación doctoral sobre la importancia de la confianza en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, centrándose principalmente en conocer el proceso de construcción de confianza, su vivencia y percepción a nivel de los diferentes actores del proceso educativo: personal directivo y docente; comunidad estudiantil y apoderados. Para ello se estudiaron colegios de la comuna de Valparaíso en las tres dependencias: municipal, particular subvencionada y particular pagada.
Los resultados obtenidos revelan que la confianza, componente constituyente del capital social, no es considerada como un pilar central de las políticas educativas y proyectos educativos de los establecimientos educacionales y no se desarrolla ni trabaja explícitamente, manteniéndose a nivel "invisible". Esto hace urgente abordarla desde una mirada de país, pues constituye un eje central de la calidad de vida y del vínculo humano.

This article presents the results of a PhD research about how important trust can be within the teaching and learning process, focusing the way to know how the process of building trust occurs, how the main involved subject experience it and how it is seen by the different actors of the educational process: direction and academic staff, the student community and the representatives. Therefore the authors studied high school communities of the Valparaíso municipality, in the three school systems: municipal, subsidized private and private.
The results that were obtained show that trust, the main constituent of the social capital, is not considered as an important axis of the educational policies and projects of the diverse institutions, and that it is neither worked on specifically, but that on the contrary the subject remains at an " invisible" level. This shows how urgent it is to deal with trust as a priority for the country, since it represents a central axis for the quality of life and for the human bonds.
